He diagnosed the issue in about 20 seconds and gave me a straightforward easy solution to fix it myself. Not being very car savvy, I engaged his help in replacing my battery after giving my car an immediate jump to get me through the night. competitive pricing and immense professionalism. I cannot imagine doing business with a different mechanic ever again.

My son has an old Volvo S40 and the oil dip stick kept popping out spewing oil all over the engine, he live in Warrenton, so I called a local dealer in Fairfax and thought it was a missing washer around the dip stick, the dealer told my that from the sound of what I described it was a bad PVC box and quite involved to change; I asked if they knew anyone in that area the would recommend and they highly recommended Charles Mullin, and they were right he gave me a reasonable price and had it fixed the next day!

If you have a Volvo and fear the repairman weep no more! Charlie Mullin will revive your ailing vehicle whatever the problem, and give good service and a fair price! I have been bringing my two aging Volvos to Charlie for several years now and they are both running great. My cross country wagon has 215,000 miles and is a winter brute for tackling the snows of West Virginia flawlessly. My S60 is a nice cruising car and I am finicky about handling, tires, etc. but under Charlie's care it just feels like new at 175,000 miles. I don't know how they sell new ones with guys like Charlie keeping the old ones running so well!

I've gone to him for almost thirty years and have complete confidence that my Volvo is in the best road-ready condition possible. Before I started going to him, I was about to sell my Volvo because I'd had such bad experiences with the dealer -- problems not fixed and unneeded work done. I have been taking my 1994 850 to Mullins since I moved into the area 6 years ago, he has replaced the main seal and clutch, brakes & rotors, ignition coil, and a couple of other item. He is one of the few mechanics I can truly say I trust, he is straight forward, no nonsense, dont be scared off by the size of his garage. He knows what he is doing.

Great Service
After having my car serviced by a local tire chain for a year I found Mullin's because my 2 year old Volvo was screeching. They immediately determined that I was out of transmission fluid and topped it off without a second thought. I followed up with a much needed lube and sevice and now will not go anywhere else. The shop is small but the service is beyond bounds and I feel comfortable that I am getting the services that I am paying for.

I've been taking my XC90 to Mullins for 2 years now and the service has been excellent. He even dismantled my misbehaving sunroof, which isn't the easiest job in the world. Very reasonable prices, very helpful mechanic - even game me a referral for another garage to get my jeep fixed (something a little out of his bailiwick). Gotta love an honest mechanic.

Charlie Mullins has kept my Volvo V70 R running great for years. He is honest, pleasant and talented. My car has more than 225,000 miles on it, I drive it across the country twice a year as well as all around the Northern VA DC area. For way less than I would pay a dealer, my car gets checked and serviced. I am never pressured to pay for things it doesn't need, when a used part would be just as good as a new one, Charlie finds me a used part. I have tried the dealership and I have tried other foreign auto "specialists," and invariably those places charge too much, do unnecessary work and do it shabbily. I take both my cars to Charlie now and I have never been anything less than 100% satisfied.
